Instructional Designer

Myers-Tech designs and delivers programs, practices, and processes to meet the needs of our clients.  We are currently seeking a talented Instructional Designer to develop materials for our tailor-made solutions to include Instructor Led Training (ILT), Web Based Training (WBT), Computer Based Training (CBT), and Blended Learning. 

Responsibilities:

• Create training modules from start to finish—planning, designing, storyboarding, and scripting—using Captivate and a variety of other tools.

• Interacting with a wide range of subject matter experts (engineers, business professional, and manager) to thoroughly research and learn about software provided to our clients.

• Working hands-on with the software in order to write clear, concise, and easy-to-follow instructions to explain complex concepts.

• Managing the flow of projects from inception through delivery.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of adult learning principles

• Comfort with creating new processes, championing new projects, and working on multiple large projects simultaneously

• A commitment to being persistent and paying attention to details

• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and embrace changes in project scope and schedule

•  At least one year of experience with e-learning instructional design

• Experience with Adobe Captivate, Adobe Presenter, and Dreamweaver
