June 8, 2011: Myers-Tech's President/CEO, Sharon A. Myers, is selected to present the company's Journey to Success: Developing a Personal Success Strategic Plan at the National Convention of the National FFA Organization in Indianapolis, IN in October 2011.
May 14, 2011: Myers-Tech wins a subcontract award with Alabama A&M University to facilitate marketing and business development training programs for small businesses across the United States, sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
March 1, 2011: Myers-Tech wins a subcontract award with the University of Alabama in Birmingham to provide technical assistance and training support programs to Alabama Department of Transportation certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.
January 18, 2011: Myers-Tech is contracted to support the Alabama A&M University Center of Excellence for Economic Development to provide technical assistance and training to entrepreneurs and small business owners.
June 1, 2010: Myers-Tech moves into its new location at the Apex Business Center. "We are excited about having more space for training," stated Sharon A. Myers, President/CEO of the company.
May 15, 2010: Myers-Tech wins contract with Monster Worldwide, Inc. to present training at it's annual Monster Diversity Leadership Programs. Sharon A. Myers, President/CEO, will facilitate workshops for college students on diversity & inclusive leadership and career development strategies. Monster's program tours nine major cities around the country and is participated by nearly three thousand selected students from around the world.
February 1, 2010: Myers-Tech welcomes three new Alabama A&M University Business Interns: Keston Jones (Indianapolis, IN), Christopher Steward (Birmingham, AL), and Garvis Glass (Gadsden, AL). The students will provide business development and marketing research support.
January 21, 2010: Myers-Tech is certified by the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) to participate in its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program, and qualified to receive DOT assisted contracts and technical support in that state.
January 14, 2010: Myers-Tech is certified by the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) to participate in its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program, and qualified to receive DOT assisted contracts and technical support in that state.
December 16, 2009: Myers-Tech is certified by the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) to participate in its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program, and qualified to receive DOT assisted contracts and technical support in that state.
August 24, 2009: Myers-Tech welcomes three new Alabama A&M University Business Interns: Keston Jones (Indianapolis, IN), LaTonya Davis (St. Louis, MO), and Kristene Bell (Huntsville, AL). The students will provide business development and marketing research support.
April 4, 2008: Myers-Tech is Certified a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) by the US Small Business Administration, eligible to participate in the program through 2011.
August 23, 2007: Myers-Tech is awarded "2007 Small Business Start-Up of the Year" by the Women's Business Center of North Alabama and presented the award at the Huntsville/Madison County's Small Business Awards Celebration.
March 30, 2007: Myers-Tech founder, Sharon A. Myers, featured in The Huntsville Times as "Entrepreneur of the Week".
