Myers-Tech seeks to provide students with engagement opportunities to build community and facilitate student growth.
The Myers-Tech's Professional Internship Program (PIP) is designed to recruit and match highly qualified college students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) with our customers, federal agencies and corporations across the country.
The PIP provides federal agencies and corporations with an opportunity to increase the diversity of its workforce. Myers-Tech identifies talented, qualified, and hardworking interns enrolled at HBCUs, and provide coordination and oversight of the students.
Myers-Tech's SCI-TECH Program for middle school students is designed to mentor and cultivate our future scientists, biologist, physicists, and engineers to encourage and/or strengthen their fascination with the world of science and technology.
Myers-Tech engages the students with age-level appropriate, hands-on, interactive activities to expose students to career opportunities within applied science and advanced technology.
Myers-Tech's student leadership program entitled Journey to Success: Developing a Personal Success Strategic Plan (PSSP) is designed to provide students with the Six Steps to planning for the success they seek.
Myers-Tech's community youth programs are geared towards developing our country's future technical workforce.
Myers-Tech's workforce development strategy seeks to strengthen academic and community partnership. We seek additional programming resources to help inspire students to become change agents in their communities.
Myers-Tech develops youth technical programs designed to introduce high school students to potential career paths in various industries. The programs can be implemented throughout the school year or during the summer. The curriculum and activities are tailored to the industry partners/sponsors. The programs include classroom instruction, industry guest speakers, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
